Day 30: I have saved the best for last. I am eternally grateful for my favorite person in the whole world: my husband, Brice.
Before we got married, we were asked by our celebrant do some “homework” — a letter, telling her why each of us wanted to marry the other person. I’ve never revealed the entire letter to him, but I want him to be able to read it.
“Why I want to marry Brice…
Day 29: I am thankful for my renewed passion for reading and writing. Blogging each day has rekindled my love for putting my thoughts down, even if no one reads them but me. I’ve enjoyed sharing my life and thoughts with others over the past 29 days, and am hoping that I can maintain a steady posting schedule when my #30thankfuldays are complete.
Day 28: Today, I am thankful for a fun Thanksgiving with my family. It was wonderful to see everyone and catch up, and then spend some time being silly and eating awesome Thanksgiving food. A fabulous day.
Day 27: Today, I am thankful for an easy day filled with things I enjoy. Sleeping in, followed by a brisk morning run in City Park, a movie with my husband, and a stop in a local Irish pub for a pint of Guinness. Today was wonderful and fun, and I loved every moment.
Day 26: I am thankful for a few days off to celebrate Thanksgiving with my husband and family. I feel fortunate that I work in an occupation that gives me time off to be with those that I love for this wonderful holiday. I hope that those who must work are able to find the time to be with their own during this time of year as well.
Day 25: I am thankful for my warm and safe home. Brice and I moved into our house in mid-April after an exhaustive 2-month house search. Those 2 months were filled with random open-houses, Brice leaving work at all times of day, offers, and a few disappointments. Finding our home was difficult, but since moving in, we have been so happy and we really feel at peace here.
